Neva Consulting was founded by Vanessa Galhardo-Galhetas in 2019 and is a consultancy focusing on Legal, Compliance and Leadership services. 

Vanessa Galhardo-Galhetas is a Lawyer with a Master in Law cum laude, graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2006. 

Furthermore, she obtained a Master in Leadership for Middle Management at Antwerp Management School. In addition, she is holder of a CIPP/EU certification, an International Mergers and Acquisitions Expert certification and is Certified Compliance Officer.

Overall, Vanessa has over 15 years of professional experience as a Lawyer and as Manager of large operational departments and this within private and public organisations. Consequently, she has extensive experience in banking and insurance law, contract law, data protection, corporate governance, M&A, compliance,  and management. Even more, she speaks Dutch, French, English, German and Portuguese.

Hence, as an interim manager she has experience as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and as Corporate Secretary within multinational organisations, while working on corporate governance, contracts, compliance and data protection with teams in different locations at global level. Moreover, she is author of books in the area of Legal and Compliance.

As an active member of European Women on Boards, she believes in the importance of gender equality and the added value of women in decision-making positions. She took part in the C-Suite Program of European Women on Boards and has completed a certification as Board Director in the Financial sector.

Finally, she is Independent Non-Executive Director at Alterfin and Member of the Advisory Council of Harvard Business Review.
